The Hideaway Huts at Stable Cottage Paddock

Our three Hideaway Huts are located in the quiet, secluded paddock with stunning views across the South Tyne Valley by day and the glorious back-cloth of Northumberland’s Dark Skies by night.
This rural idyll is just 3 miles from the most spectacular stretches of Hadrian’s Wall and less than a mile from the world famous archaeological site at Vindolanda. With the whole of the Northumberland National Park to the North, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Beauty to the South, easy access to the vibrant city of Newcastle 30 miles to the east and the Lake District to the West, there is always somewhere to go ….if you can tear yourself away …..
The Bothy, The Shieling and The Wainscot are bespoke Grande Roulottes, each providing exclusive accommodation for 2 guests. The open-plan living area comprises a comfortable seating area and kitchenette, opening on to a veranda. The kitchenette has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and small dining table. There is an electric wood-burning effect stove, Smart TV with catch-up TV, digital radio, Wi-fi internet access and bluetooth speaker.
Bedroom: has a zip’n’link kingsize double bed, which can be separated into twin singles if required, and is screened from the living-area for privacy.
Bathroom: The Bothy and The Shieling both have baths with shower over, WC and washbasin, whilst The Wainscot has a walk-in shower, WC and washbasin. All 3 Huts have an automatic washing machine located in the bathroom.
All utilities, bed linen and towels are included, as are broadband and streamed movies.
