Warden Holme Cottage sits just south of the Northumberland National Park and is ideally placed to explore local attractions along Hadrians Wall and Vindolanda with Chesters Fort to the east and Roman Army Museum to the west. Conveniently placed in a central location makes accessing attractions in the north borders of Northumberlad such as Holy Island around 1 1/2 hours drive and the castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick in around a 1 hour drive. A day out in the Lake District can be accessed at Keswick across the scenic A686 into Cumbria in around 1 1/2 hours.
