You can be confident that a warm welcome awaits you at Broomshaw Hill Farm. At our lovely, partly original 18th century, farmhouse we aim to provide a warm welcome and an extremely comfortable and peaceful night’s sleep. Nestled alongside the tumbling Haltwhistle Burn, we are a short distance from historic Haltwhistle with its range of shops, cafes, eateries and 13th Century church. Follow the picturesque Haltwhistle Burn path for about a mile to join the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail at Cawfields. Along the way you are likely to spot dippers, roe deer and maybe the shy red squirrels or otters, but also watch out for the traces of Haltwhistle's once burgeoning industries now mere echoes amongst the wild flowers in the tranquil woodland.
Being situated on both the A69 and Tyne Valley railway lines, Haltwhistle is ideally placed for those wishing to arrive by or use public transport. From Broomshaw you can leave your car behind and conveniently get about with the assistance of the AD122 Roman Wall bus service which provides a walker and cycle friendly service.
We have three beautiful and bright en suite bedrooms, each equipped with velvety towels, Egyptian cotton linen, flat screen TV, a thoughtful selection of toiletries and a well-stocked hospitality tray. Free Wi-Fi is available. Our locally sourced and varied breakfasts have a Visit England Breakfast Award whilst homemade preserves, cakes and biscuits add to your enjoyment of our 4*, silver award accommodation.
